All crews will work a standard Compressed AWS as follows:
a) The core rotating shifts remain as is. Any vacancy created by the bidding of Permanent Days off shifts will be filled in accordance with AMA 7210.1F.
b) Permanent Days Off will be offered/bid in the following order:
# P1 = SAT/SUN every other FRI
# P2 = FRI/SAT every other THU
# P3 = WED/THU every other TUE
# P4 = SAT/SUN every other MON
# P5 = MON/TUE every other SUN
# P6 = THU/FRI every other WED (NOT
BID)
# P7 = TUE/WED every other MON (NOT BID)
c) All sets of days off shall be bid in accordance with AMA 7210.1F and the NATCA/FAA Agreement as they become available.
Note: Bidding on any set of days off will be for a term of one year. If a slot is bid/accepted by an employee, that employee is not eligible to bid on any future combination of days off, per Article 34, Section 12 of the CBA.
d) All shifts will be effective the first full pay period in April 2005.. There will be a transition period at this time.
